Today during sociology, the lecturer asked us to look at a table in the notes.
She said to carefully observe the table and spot something.

After a few minutes she addressed the LT. " So what did you observe?"

So again there was the usual look-here-look-there, anywhere-but-the-lecturer's-eyes thing or the bend-the-head-really-low-over-notes thing (I personally prefer a mixture of both techniques) that we students do to avoid answering questions in lecture at the risk of sounding stupid.

"Anyone? Anyone? What did you see from the table? Anyone?!" came her plea.

Somehow she made eye contact with me and I felt obliged to answer her question.

I took a quick glance at the table,

looked up and said, " Er, there's a spelling error."

Her face went 0_o

"I think Prussia is actually Russia."

Her face became -_-

"Haha, no, no, there is actually a country called Prussia."

The lecture group shared the lecturer's amusement at the girl-who-didn't-know-Prussia-exists and laughed their heads off.
What?! Barely a month into my course and I've established myself as the lecture idiot?!

Embarassing stuff.

Eh, Prussia is a country----> is common knowledge meh?

Lovely tuesday morning, the dark clouds looming over every hdb in hougang.
The morning light makes a quick exit and my mind tricks me to thinking its 6pm.

As I stretch out my arms to welcome a new day, my curtains smack me in the face. As if possessed, it gives me another 2 slaps on each side of my face.

Grrrrr, what in the world?

I wake up to find the wind furious; angrily howling and repeatedly manipulating the curtains to swing back n forth across my face.

I was delighted.

I sat up in glee and drew the curtains back and opened the windows wide.
The wind was as delighted as it flew full force into my dark stuffy room.
Pages of books I havent touched in ages started turning, my jeans begin to flap against the cupboard, notes I placed haphazardly around the room started to fly around.

I love this feeling.
